Adult Learning Courses Autumn 2017

We are pleased to announce the details of the adult learning courses which we will be delivering over the coming summer months. Thanks go to the Camden and Islington NHS, Camden Adult Community Learning, and the Big Lottery Fund; all of whom have provided funding and made it possible for us to deliver these courses: 


Core Skills - Write & Read, Speak & Listen

Guiding people to improve core communication skills and increase confidence through interactive workshops.

Digital Inclusion - Computer Basics

A course for people who are not familiar with computers, we'll cover the basics of how to use a computer and finding out what we can use them for. 

Confident in The Community

Aiming to help people who feel unsure in the community to be more confident in the local area, this term we'll be running two Confident in the Community classes; for Camden Local, and exploring Soho and the Southbank.

My Life Plan

Run in partnership with The Regency Training Foundation this course touches on many areas, building confidence, anger management, personal organisation, and way to improve health and wellbeing. 

Kingsway Art 

Run in partnership with the Westminster Kingsway College this class will be looking at different artists and styles, and be getting hands on to try our a variety of ways to create! 

Take to the Stage - Drama Group

Building confidence and communication skills through learning stage and acting techniques, then we'll write and perform our our play.

Craft Sessions

this course is about combining art and craft techniques, we'll learn about different crafts, tools and materials and we'll all create our own craft projects. 

Tai Chi

This term we'll be running a Tai Chi class, this gentle exercise group is accessible to all! We will learn Tai Chi exercises to improve health and wellbeing.

Cook together, Eat Together

An introduction to healthy eating where you will learn the benefits of eating a healthy diet, plus we'll be cooking some delicious healthy meals together.
