Support our runners from this year's Big Half

Our two places from the first ever Big Half that took place on Sunday 4 March 2018 were filled by Timothy McGeevor and Harry Gordon who put their fitness to the test to make a difference to the lives of people with a learning disability.

The Big Half was the first of its kind demonstrating how sport and the community can get together to inspire social change. Starting at Tower Bridge and finishing in Greenwich the route wound through Southwark, Lewisham and Tower Hamlets.

“I am running for The Camden Society because my friend’s brother attends their centres and he would be lost without them” , explained Harry Gordon.

Harry came in the top 50% of runners and Timothy finished in good time showing strength and determination despite the pulling of a hamstring! We thank them for their sweat, calories and miles!

Although the run is complete, you can still show your support by donating at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/McGeever and https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HarryGordon. Help the boys meet their fundraising targets!

Why we need your donations: We support people with a learning disability to live the lives they choose, free from discrimination. Your donation means we can help even more people with a learning disability to reach their potential.
