Community Project South Receives Generous Donation
The cheque was officially handed over at our Parent and Carers Social on the 9th December 2009 by Mr Barry Matthews, the Grand Master of the Kilburn Lodge Society.
The cheque was received on behalf of the Community Project South by William Ralph and Molly Cumberbatch. The Kilburn Lodge gave us the money with the condition that we use some of it to throw a Christmas party for all our service users and staff, and that we buy a professional Filming camera. These were easy conditions to meet and the Christmas dinner/party brought last year to an exciting end!
As for the rest of the money, we are putting in place a comforts fund executive committee which will include service users as well as a parent, to help make decisions on how the money is spent.
