City Living Services

City Living: Enjoy your own home

If you have a disability and live in your own home or family home in London, City Living can support you.

With City Living, you'll get support to enjoy your home, to get to know your own community and to be known within it. To do this, we'll work with you to design whatever support you need to live the life you want.

We run City Living Services across 12 properties, supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, people with mental health needs and other people who are vulnerable and need additional support.

City Living options

You can get a City Living service if you have been referred by a care manager or you can choose to buy direct and design your own city living package through our iCHOOSE direct payments scheme.

It's totally up to you to decide how you want to use a City Living service. You may only want a few hours support each week or you may need a 24 hour one-to-one intensive support service. Whatever you need, we can help you to design it.

Choose what you need

With City Living you can get any combination of support to: 

• Get ready in the morning
• Pay rent and organise your finances, benefits and bills
• Work out relationships and talk through problems
• Take medication, arrange health appointments and learn about healthy lifestyles
• Deal with practical tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping
• Organise weekly activities and use places in the community such as colleges, cinemas and restaurants
• Use public transport and learn new travel routes
• Get involved in speaking up groups
• Meet with care managers and other professionals
• Do things together with your housemates
