Projects for Adults: Camden

Get out and get involved with our Community in Action Projects.

You'll get support to make new friends, explore London, learn new skills, and feel more confident to live an independent life.

The Weekend Social Club

A variety of activities either at our centre in Kentish Town or out and about in the community.

Come and meet old friends or make some new ones.  Take part in a variety of activities and get to know your local area. Most importantly come and have some fun!

We have a wide choice of things to get involved in from trips to the cinema, bowling, swimming or playing on the Wii or xBox, cookery sessions, use computers and learn social media, exploring London, visiting theme parks or museums - we do it all!

Our club members come up with all the ideas of activities that take place so you get to have your say and choose exactly what you do.

Every Saturday from 1pm - 8pm.  Based in Kentish Town, NW5

For more information contact Laura Murphy at the Camden Society on 020 7485 8177 or email community@thecamdensociety.co.uk

PASS : Physical Activity Support Scheme

Physical activities are not just for the super fit, anyone can take part. PASS is not about fancy footwear or expensive sports clothing, its not about running around until you can't breathe! It's about being more active in general, getting out there, trying new things, looking after yourself and making lasting friendships along the way.

We deliver tasters and courses all across Camden to help find which physical activity is right for you.

We can then help support you into a regular activity group of your choosing.

Walking group

You only need to wear comfortable clothing and be ready to exercise your body. These sessions on Saturday are for practise some physical activity while you enjoy and explore green and urban spaces all over London! Feel strong and healthy while you are with your friends and also you meet a new ones!
