The Camden Society Unity Works is a specialist not-for-profit service dedicated to supporting people with a learning disability to gain skills, achieve qualifications and secure jobs, so they can reach their full potential. 

We work with employers and run successful social enterprises, creating opportunities for people with a learning disability to showcase their talent.

About The Role

We are setting up a new supported employment service in Waltham Forest for people with a learning disability and autism, in partnership with the local authority. 

We are seeking a Senior Employment Advisor to establish a good network to ensure that people with a learning disability and autism secure and sustain employment. This will involve working with employers to open up opportunities promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce. 

About You

Ideal candidates will have:

• Essential experience of supporting people with a learning disability and autism into employment.

• Proven experience of working to meet contract targets and outcomes and supporting a staff team to achieve these.

• Ability to lead a team and ensure staff are provided with opportunities for support and development.

• A commitment to supporting people with a learning disability and autism to reach their full potential.

• Proven experience of working partnership including employers. Local authority and other providers.
